Marguerite tells Anna that she hs had pneumonia. Due to her illness she recieve thew information abur Markham's appointment and was unable to secure a lecture with her club. She is trying to reschedule a new date. She would like Anna to come with Markham also and asks if he recieved his check. Her son enjoyed meeting Markham and having lunch in New York.
